Allegiance Unity Coonawarra Cabernet 2022

This is a seriously good Coonawarra Cabernet, young, perhaps, but with enormous promise. The wine is deep red in colour and bright with fresh fruit notes. Flavours swirl through blackberries, graphite, violets, cassis, licorice and some vanillin oak. Lifted aromas here help to make this wine a joy. A silky palate, well balanced, with very fine and rather sleek tannins, and a lingering finish. It really does have excellent length – a highlight. A beautifully crafted wine, exhibiting some real elegance, which will drink wonderfully well for the next decade.
