Savitas Wines Álainn Fion Range

Gaelic for ‘Beautiful wine’, the Álainn Fion Chardonnay and Grenache hail from selected parcels of fruit within South Australia.

Álainn Fion JB Chardonnay
2018

Chardonnay fruit is sourced from Piccadilly Valley. Immediate aromas out of the glass are ripe and warmed peach cheeks in syrup with grated lemon zest. Freshly juiced lemons and orange aromatics with a vibrant and zesty palate. This wine invokes a farmhouse kitchen table with lots of edible delights. A leesy and toasted praline butter finish adds another layer of depth. A generous style with a good life ahead of it. A bottle for bbq crayfish or marron cooked in its shell topped with plenty of garlic butter.

Álainn Fion JB Chardonnay 2019

The 2019 pre-released Chardonnay opens up with lime blossom, cut green apple and yellow plum. A gentle rolling acidity creates a rounded mouth feel and green almond pithy texture. Drink with a classic Vichyssoise, crunchy salad to create the perfect lunch.
