Ross Hill Wines

Situated in Orange NSW, The Robson family are producing cool climate and carbon neutral wines. This is no mean feat from a winery with a holistic approach to its sense of place and a family run operation.

Ross Hill Pinnacle Series Pinot Gris 2021
White pear flesh and lime pithe, the wine shows a distinct talc and chalky character, the Pinnacle series representing the outstanding parcels from each vintage. Cut lilies, nashi pear and green kiwi fruit. The time on lees account for the luxurious mouth feel and the bright, fresh acidity of the wine cleans up the palate, making you go straight back for more. Drink with fried school prawns and plenty of lemon aioli. 90 Points

Ross Hill Pinnacle Series Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Made using fruit sourced from two sites, Griffin Road and Wallace Lane Vineyards, plus a combination of neutral French oak and stainless steel, this is a Sauvignon Blanc that has been treated with huge respect. There is delicacy in the perfectly ripe, wild passionfruit blossoms, gooseberry and peppery greens. The crushed white rock minerality and vibrant fruit weight is balanced by a finish that is fine and lengthy. Perfectly put together, drink this with raw sliced scallops or razor clam meat with white soy. 92 Points
