Blue Pyrenees Estate Section 5 Shiraz 2017

Share

A surprising vein of blue fruit in the Section 25 Shiraz; blueberries, blackcurrant and mulberry with hints of vanilla pod, dark cocoa and clove spice. A concentrated wine with classic, moderate tannins and plenty of fruit weight. The element of ripe blue fruit polarises this wine and is definitely a talking point, a great wine to discuss the style of the region and the character of cool climate Shiraz. Drink with roast beetroot salad and medium rare flank steak.
