This wine smells like the peak of summer with dripping yellow peaches and large juicy wedges of papaya and pineapple. On the palate the fruit is zestier with nectarine and grapefruit and a savoury hint of fresh hay. Some time in oak adds a spicy nutmeg note and enhances the creamy lemon-custard texture. Enjoy with baked whole baby snapper and spring greens topped with beurre blanc.
