Mid straw and showing a bit of colour for the 2022 vintage. There is an impressive mix of fruit from the classic stony and citrus aromas of Watervale which is also joined by a more exotic guava edge. Good precision and focus of flavour follows with a base of zesty acidity and minerality plus a touch of bath salts and florals plus good overall length. It’s a solid vintage from Mitchell just held back a bit by a slightly chewy finish.
