Oliver’s Taranga Mencía 2022

Share

Blueberries, black raspberries, violets and rosemary stem after you’ve stripped the needles. The base notes of this wine run deep and brooding with elements of aniseed, caraway and sandalwood. This is a joven style and so the palate serves up perky, bright and lively. Soft tannins and woody cinnamon quill plus black peppercorn to finish. My my Mencía you’re doing just fine in the Vale. A black pepper crusted pastrami sandwich would go down a treat with this wine.
