Orin Swift Palermo Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Share

This is made in an unashamed manner to create a very approachable and immediately drinkable Napa cabernet sauvignon with a ripe, generous and full blown style. There’s all that delicious rich, dark fruit loaded with spicy plum and blackcurrant. Then there is the counterbalance from a typical bay leaf varietal character with a dollop of dark chocolate and a touch of liqueur. The palate is long and lavishly supported with ample oak and tannins, although oak has been well managed. You can cellar if you wish but to me this is a wine that should be enjoyed while its primary fruit is to the fore.
