Riversdale Estate Pinot Noir 2022

Share

An excellent introduction to Tassie Pinot Noir, if one is needed. Here we see the hallmarks of the state and the grape: the red cherry bright fruits, a touch of pomegranate, a splash of musk adds extra dimension followed by turned earth and dried herbs of rosemary and sage. The fruit is sweet-hearted, the tannins are gentle, the acidity is fresh and a little crunchy. Oak doesn’t speak too loudly but rest assured its place is assured, and the wine’s attractive light spiciness gives its presence away. The effect is lively, vivacious and well composed.
