Sidewood Isabella Rosé 2015

Share

A highly prized Sparkling wine locally and internationally, garnering a swathe of gold medals and topping those with a Platinum sticker at the 2022 Decanter World Wine Awards, then at the most recent 2023 regional Adelaide Hills Wine Show, judged Best Sparkling of the Show. There’s good reason for all the praise, as this wine has a beautiful florals and spice approach, plenty of delicate red berry top notes from its 80:20 Pinot Noir/ Chardonnay makeup, then more importantly an engaging depth and body to the palate, flavour wise as well as mouth-feel, developed via its Traditional Method winemaking with a minimum six years on lees. A very smart – and delicious – wine for the price rating.
