93% Grenache and 7% Shiraz into small open fermenters for 12 days followed by 12 months in puncheos and barrels. Black Christmas cherries, figs and sloe berries. A touch of cranberry brightness with soft baking spices like cinnamon, cumin and nutmeg powder. There is a subtle rose floral note that’s attractive and lingers throughout. This is not the candied medicinal style you might see from other young vines but refined, silky and mature.
