Semillon in the Barossa? You bet! In fact, the grape has a long history in the region as you can see from the promotion of 100 year old Semillon vines in this stand-alone wine. Delivers a warm, umami-textural wine big on both aromatics and complexity. A lovely, penetrating aromatic display on the bouquet in honeysuckle, spring blossom, citrus, chamomile and beeswax aromas. It’s ripe and full of expression to taste with stone fruits and citrus joined by baked quince, pear and those dazzling aromatics. Smooth running, it is undoubtedly complex with old vines producing a totally unforced brilliance.
