Deep ruby hue. 35% whole bunches in the wine make a fragrant and spiced entry to a wine of savoury, meaty hues. Macerated cherry flesh, bluestone, watermelon granita, sweet oak spice and that persistent, almost char siu pork meatiness with bramble leafiness. Grainy tannins give a fine frame for the full fruit to sit in. Some chary oak from extended maturation with a sharp acid counterpoint to the dark berry fruit. In no hurry to go anywhere, let it sit for a while.
