Raïdis Estate The Kelpie Sauvignon Blanc 2023

A pleasantly aromatic nose with the usual suspect, passionfruit, showing off. However, it does not have overtly green, pungent aromas; this wine is instead on the snow pea spectrum with the tropical character of candied pineapple and a spicy accent of jalapeno. The palate is zippy and flavorsome, with a multilayered texture and a cooling effect, like biting in a lemon-flavored popsicle. A decent length confirms that Coonawarra Sauvignon Blanc is a thing like Cabernet Sauvignon.
