Immediately captivating with its total cabernet front end – dark berries, even elderberry with varietal leafy notes, forest and bay. While this suggests a fairly herbal approach, as you sip the wine leans more towards fruit than greenery – and that’s a blessing. Tannins, as expected with cabernet, fill in the palate a little as the finish eases out gently.
