Chalmers Dotti Ribolla Gialla 2021

You don’t taste a Ribolla Gialla every day, let alone one from Australia. As you may have guessed, it is an Italian variety. Cultivated since Roman times, it hails from the north east in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. This version by Chalmers smells positively crunchy. Green apples, celery, cucumber slices and peas popped straight from their shells in the veggie garden . There’s tangy lime juice and slippery honeydew melon. On the palate it’s light and supple.
