Krondorf Stone Altar Old Vine Grenache 2022

Share

Grenache is back in favour and that means the Barossa Valley is embracing its old vine Grenache vines big time. And rightly so when it brings forth such alluring scents and flavours as these. Brings a raft of dark plum, red and black fruits with crushed herbs and musk, potpourri aromas. Very Grenache. Medium bodied and good depth across the palate with a focus on red berries, cranberry and crushed herbs, closing with some tasty bitter chocolate notes. Twelve months maturation in French oak has contributed a creamy texture and classy tannin profile. Plenty to enjoy here.
