Textural and flowing, this wine seems to find every nook and cranny of my mouth. Lime cordial, chalk dust, and grapefruit pith. It leans tertiary over primary, proudly showing its age. Gracious and firm. To me this wine is a wrinkly old man who likes the colour navy blue. I watch him tuck his shirt in and give a bow. I bow back, out of respect. It’s a lovely little wine and a joy to catch at this stage. It finishes with upside-down pineapple cake and Stracciatella cheese. Drink now. Cellar Release.
