This is a leaner style from the famous Gin Gin clone that is synonymous with West Australian chardonnay. The very fast and snappy early vintage means that this has already had nearly 11 months in oak. All barrel fermented but there has been no lees stirring or malolactic fermentation, so the crisp fine acidity has been maintained. It’s clean and pure with a peachy melon mouthfeel. It has a generosity in the mouth with the oak lightly applied making for a fruit driven style that’s ideal for drinking over the next three years.
