Fratelli Barale Barbera d’Alba “Castle” 2020

Share

Barbera from blue marine soils right next to the prized Cannubi Cru of Barolo village. Despite its distinguished origin, this wine is pure joy and fun! Bright ruby colour with a blueish hue, reminiscent of crushed raspberry and blueberry aromas. But there is more as it’s opening up; grilled strawberry, yoghurt, crushed rocks. Pleasingly round and refreshing; crunchy acidity, tangy berries and a lovely texture. A gamechanger for any midweek pasta night!
