Gilberts Reserve Shiraz 2020

This little vineyard just north of the town of Mount Barker has consistently produced outstanding shiraz and this one from the super 2020 vintage is one of the best from Gilberts. So much rich dark fruit. Dark plum, chocolate and even a hint of mocha in there with a lift of spices and herbs. Dig a little deeper and traces of clove and cinnamon emerge. It’s a beauty with another 10 years at least.
