Gumpara Wines Victor’s Old Vine Shiraz 2022

From a seven-generation family-owned vineyard in the Light Pass District of the Barossa Valley. It offers outstanding value at around $30. Deep colour with a blackish red-brick hue. Typical black cherry and blackberry notes, savoury dark plum, and a sagebrush lift on the nose. Medium-weight palate with intense flavours supported by fine tannins and 24 months in a mix of French and American oak—very well managed. A classy, great-value wine.
