Lark Oloroso Cask Release 2021

Some whiskies just grab you from the first sniff, and this is such a whisky. The key is the barrels for aging – ex Barossa Oloroso casks on top of a spirit that has also spent time in Sherry and Port casks. The combination gives a decadent Whisky style – rich and spicy with sweet malty aromas. Ginger, honey and honeycomb with a distinctive flourish of tropical fruit – apricot and mango – before a more traditional spicy, silky palate, with peaty/smoky notes providing a savoury finish. A delicious release that is guaranteed to impress.
