Maretti Soave Classico 2022

Good clean, crisp, chilled Soave is an ideal wine for an Aussie summer. The better examples are fresh and simply brimming with flavour – this one is definitely worth a look. Made from the Garganega grape in the Soave region near Verona it is deep yellow colour with notes of stonefruit and tropicals, noticeably mango with a hint of passionfruit topped with a touch of peach. Crunchy acidity here runs the full length while freshness and focus are the key here. The wine should drink well over the next two to three years. Great to see it bottled under screwcap.
