The Mesh Eden Valley Riesling is a unique collaboration between renowned Riesling master Jeffrey Grosset and Robert Hill-Smith. Two big names in the wine game putting their heads together have come up with what is a classic Eden Valley Riesling style – shy, delicate, refined – a ballerina Riesling.
The wine has a beautiful pale colour. It is a typically bright, fresh and restrained Eden Valley style. Green apple, citrus and white floral fruits give a pretty aromatic profile which continues into the mouth in a dry, medium-bodied style with well integrated moderate acidity. A delicate 12.5 percent alcohol rounds off the package for this embryonic wine that has the balance to drink well for the next 3 to 8 years.
