Miss Zilm Auburn Fiano 2023

Share

The vines for this Fiano were grafted onto a single vineyard of 30-year old Riesling vines in the sub region of Auburn. Seven year old vines. Honeydew melon, golden kiwi, orchard apples and nashi pear. Geranium petals, sea spray and slatey beach rock. This is a natural unforced expression of Fiano showcasing its array of stone and citrus fruits with gently yielding acidity and fruit flesh in harmony. A wine almost anyone would enjoy from Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Chablis lovers. Drinking well now and will cellar 1-3 years further this would be a stunning pairing with a rocket, pear and blue cheese salad.
