Oliver’s Taranga Small Batch Grenache 2022

Share

McLaren Vale is increasingly seen as the home of Grenache in Australia. Rightly so, with a complete range of styles being produced. This Grenache slips easily into the bright and lively category with its light-ish red colour and summery cherry-berry-musk-confection notes. Red cherries are a dominant feature, but as it gains ground on the palate there is some added heft as the wine fills out with gentle sweet, smoky oak and texture. It’s a little charmer built to be enjoyed without food, if you fancy. It’s complete in itself.
