Quin Wines Barossa Valley Shiraz 2018

Share

Andrew Quin has really hit his straps with these new releases and this Seppeltsfield Shiraz made with fruit grown near the banks of Greenock Creek is one of the best. It’s bold and shows the vintage but retains its balance with a gorgeous mix of dense blackberry, mulberry fruits, well matched to vanillin oak nicely offset by savoury layers of Italian herbs and ground spices. The palate is beautifully composed with a measured decadence with voluptuous cherry compote flavours well supported by open-knit, fine tannins through to a lengthy finish. This wine will be gone before you know it.
