Riposte by Tim Knappstein The Foil Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Share

After the slightly tough 2020 vintage there is no doubt that the Knappsteins would have celebrated 2021 with its brightness and purity of fruit, as is seen here. Pale in colour, it opens with a good mix of gently aromatic guava and citrus fruits with a subtle edge of freshly cut grass – no gooseberry bomb here! The palate is then dry, fresh and vibrant with quite elegant citrus flavours well balanced with silky acidity over a lingering finish. Enjoy lightly chilled over Summer with Smoked Salmon bagels.
