Gomersal Wines Rosevale Shiraz 2022

This great value Barossa Shiraz shows all the virtues of this outstanding vintage. ’22 is typically an elegant, stylish, and quite expressive vintage in the Barossa. Less about opulence and more about finesse and elegance, and this wine captures that. On the nose, there’s quite beautiful red fruits showing raspberry and cherry notes, and then there’s a dollop of chocolate, dark spice, and some floral edges. The palate is dominated by a juicy, ripe fruit character, supported with a neatly applied oak and those supple tannins. Ideal wine for drinking in the shorter term.
