Yarra Yering Carrodus Viognier 2023

Share

This was the only variety to be classified as a Carrodus in a very challenging and downright difficult year. In many ways more restrained so the aromas of apricot and ginger are quite muted, with a degree of subtlety. A squeeze of citrus brings more impact onto the nose and into the palate. This was a tiny yield from some of the oldest Viognier vines in Australia. The palate is concentrated and focussed with a distinctly linear feel, that still delivers with considerable Viognier power. A statement of the variety.
