Yering Station Chardonnay 2024

Tightly wound with delicate white florals, fennel and guava. This is tropical but finely etched with pomelo citrus. Almond butter and upside down pineapple cake. There is a mid palate of candied fruits, attractive and alluring. The whisper of new oak adds creamy tones and buffered edges. This looks very fresh and will drink well now but also continue to develop slowly over the next 3-6 years. Serve with lightly poached trout in a lemon grass and coconut cream sauce.
