Kiwifruit, white pineapple juice and salty radishes. This Grüner Veltliner is pleasing, energetic and full of life. The kind of new-wave wine the world needs right now. No veil, no ulterior motive. Just beeswax, salty pomelo and sun-dazed frangipane. In the mouth there’s a coconut-water-like viscosity, carried by tart acidity and a saline edge that nods to a dirty martini.  A solid food wine. Very textural. Serve it with something comforting and nostalgic. Devilled eggs would do the job.
