The Gosatti family has been growing grapes since 1994. Their petite single vineyard is hand picked and gentle pressed, inspired by their heritage and a reflection of southern Margaret River’s unique locale. The Arlewood Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 speaks of macerated strawberries in balsamic, red raspberry and blackcurrant leaves, fresh sage and cardamon pods. 30% new French oak barriques show in a tanned leather aroma but are more subtle on the palate. The wine is starting to develop those pencil shavings and graphite characters but has a long life ahead yet. A solid Margaret River Cabernet for the cellar and for drinking now if you so please. Pair with grass fed sirloin and a red wine jus or flank steak and horseradish cream.
