Sourced from old dry grown vines, there is a voltage of electricity here. Marigold, lemon balm and grated lemon skin. Fruit is decidedly ripe held in toe by its springy acidity, this slowly unwinds in tendrils capturing some calamansi lime and honeydew melon, along the way. There is an elongated muscle here, that will serve those who patiently cellar Riesling, say another 10-12 years further. For now it’s drinking very well, giving and memorable perhaps heightened by some prawn Har Gow or Siu Mai dumplings for good company.
