Auvigue Macon-Villages 2019

Share

If you are looking for a big, flavoursome chardonnay, then keep walking as here we have quite a classically understated modern Macon which impresses thanks to its balance and detail. There are layers of complex chalky, citrus fruits well matched to subtle oak and gun flint leesy complexity. Compared to many Macons, concentration is impressive. There is then a richness to the fruit on the palate with more melon flavours and a nice touch of toasty oak. A well priced Macon and introduction to White Burgundy.
