Distant South Tasmania Pinot Noir 2018

Share

I didn’t hold out much hope for this wine as pinot noir under $20, particularly from Tasmania, is often hard work. But immediately it showed some serious class with a strong signature of the grape variety.

Made from grapes grown across the Apple Isle, it has layers of vibrant, perfumed and elegant fruits – wild strawberry, green herbs, ground spice and delicate mushroom aromas that are bright and pure. It is then dry and super silky with a core of concentrated fruit that drives a lingering and satisfying finish. A fantastic pinot noir for under $20 and hard to beat for the price. Grab a case here.
