Love it or hate it, we could all do with a case of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc around the house. For when guests drop by for a quick glass of wine or a crisp dry white with dinner, it is one of those goto wines – alongside South Australian Riesling or Margaret River blends.
From the 2020 vintage here is a bargain not to miss, especially if you find it at a great price. Pale in colour it shows those classic Marlborough guava and citrus fruits with some crushed leaves in the mix. It is then juicy, generous and tangy in the mouth – bright youthful fruits in a slinky package and with a balanced finish too. What’s not to like?
