Bloomfield Petit Verdot 2024

Freshly harvested wild red berries with shades of black currants and boysenberries. However, that distinctive note of iodine is the thing that stops you in your tracks, especially if you are a terroir fan. No doubt that this wine comes from grapes grown in a coastal area! A high degree of slurpability, with a touch of gamey-savouriness to add some audaciousness, makes this a fun wine to drink now (I mean, why would you want to wait?), although created with a lot of good sense.
