Bremerton Bâtonnage Shiraz Malbec 2022

This is a lovely wine from the get-go. It was barrel fermented and matured in French oak, where it was regularly stirred to build in complexity. Well, it’s certainly done that. It’s also so soft and supple with excellent depth and fruit concentration. Has a palate coating mouth feel with fine chalky tannins, and that gentle oak influence is evident but not overdone. One glass will lead to two, and you know the rest.
