This Portuguese white grape via the Hunter Valley shows plenty of exuberant oomph in the glass. Takes no time to reveal all in heady scents of guava, honeysuckle and citrus with a splash of passionfruit and a tinge of herbals. Warm, ripe and forward in style, this youngster has plenty of flavour to offer. Stone fruits to the fore, citrus and some tropical interplay with pineapple come together with an attractive textural smoothness. Naturally exuberant, it can take a good chilling down.
