Briar Ridge Wrattonbully Viognier 2024

Share

A Viognier that side steps the grape’s richer, oily side, choosing to focus on a style that is more measured and discreet. The result is a Viognier with a touch of class, of nuance not overkill. It will definitely make fans of the grape happy. Lovely fruit weight and spice-laden palate maintaining a fine line of lime and citrus with white peach flavours that slowly build, finishing with a gentle spicy kick. A mix of new and seasoned French oak is well integrated, contributing a layer of light nougat across the mid palate. Altogether, one smart Viognier.
