This is a nice fit – ‘synonymous’ indeed! – with the traditional style of Shiraz often associated with the Barossa Valley. It’s full-bodied and expressive, big and bold and comes with an equally generous serving of oak. A blend of fruit from the Northern Barossa, the warm Valley floor and the Eden Valley, it has been made with minimal intervention. Blackberry, black plum, toasty cedary oak aromas, chocolate and earth shine throughout. Flavours are rich, flavours are bold, and the role of oak brings out an array of woody spices, cinnamon, allspice and chocolate to mingle with earth and leather. Shows a solid and sturdy Shiraz personality encased in hearty tannins.
