This is a best of vintage pick of the fruit. There is so much going on in here. On the nose you are immediately assailed with a blackberry, black cherry and dark plum combination. But then the palate. Yes, it’s intense and concentrated but there is almost an effortless big easy about it. Fine chalky tannin and a little sweet fruit, white pepper and a sprinkle of spices adds further to the sensation. It’s still so tightly held and extended cellaring would pay off handsomely.
