Yabby Lake Mornington Peninsula Single Vineyard Syrah 2025

Share

This Mornington Peninsula Syrah shows the region’s innate ability to produce depth and elegance with the grape. The same cool climate beauty the Peninsula brings to Pinot can be tasted here. Brings florals in lifted sweet violet to the aroma together with cherry, raspberry and plum fruit, white pepper, anise, herbs. It’s a full on liveliness of expression, super charged in peppery-laced spices and red berries, medium bodied and fine tannin-ed. The palate looks a little deeper with a cosy garden herbs and undergrowth character emerging, but the overall impression is of a just-picked kind of freshness carrying ripe berry fruits and spices long and deep across the middle palate through to the finish.
