Cirillo Estate 1850 Ancestor Vine Grenache Rosato 2019

Share

This is one unique rosé. It is made from some of the oldest vines on the planet, planted around 170 years ago. It is also a slightly unusual style. While most winemakers are going for the pale salmon, savoury and subtle rosé style, this wine offers a big mouthful of flavour – floral, raspberry and even redskin fruits. It is dry, crisp and fruity – with that old vine power coming through to drive a long finish. It is super food friendly and will suit casual dishes traditonally well matched to chardonnay, such as barbecued chicen or chicken kebabs.
