Henschke Noble Semillon 2022

Share

As the weather cools and the days grow longer, the arrival of a top class Botrytised Semillon is most welcome. Bright and sunny, sweet and clean, this Noble Semillon is also arrestingly complex. Offers a striking introduction with its powerful fragrance of candied fruits, cumquat, dried apricot, quince and citrus peel. A classic repose, graceful and luscious awaits, deep in flavour and long on the finish with a tingly sweet freshness that goes and goes. Balance of acidity to sweetness is always key to a top Botrytised dessert wine. Here, high residual sugar (140g/L) meets some clean, lively acidity. Smart wine for the winter months ahead.
