Buttered toast makes way for ginger, grapefruit, nectarine, quince, and grilled nuts. Quite inviting aromas. The palate has a good kick of ginger spice, nectarine, peach flesh and skin, and Meyer lemon folded into a subtly creamy and pillowy texture. A good cut of pithy and chalky phenolics along with balanced acidity brings focus and line carrying the ginger, quince and stone fruit notes through. This is balanced and complex at the price point, and delicious in its own right.
