Greenock Creek 15 Claims Shiraz 2021

There is something very alluring in this 2021 Shiraz, 100% matured in French oak. There is a northern Barossa opulence and power, in the form of blackberry essence and chocolate aromas, lifted by savoury camphor and wood smoke, wrapped up beautifully in fine grained oak. Wonderfully expressive and rich, with rocky tannins. It’s quite massive with warming alcohol, and sails through to a lengthy finish. Fruit is a little bound up at the moment so give it time.
