Coldstream Hills Reserve Chardonnay 2024

Share

Quiet and, yes, nicely reserved in the glass. A restrained introduction in scents of citrus blossom, white peach, melon skin and vanillin spice. Opens up a little more on the palate but, really, it is built for time not for speed. It almost demands a little more cellaring to release the budding citrus, stone fruits, grapefruit pith, orange zest notes and touch of kaffir lime which are kept taut and remain firmly in place. Offers layers of smooth, creamy yet essentially restrained chardonnay fruits. Bright acid all the way.
